The funeral of former police officer David Rathband , at Stafford Crematorium . Rathband was found dead at his home in Blyth on 29th February 2012 . He was shot and blinded by killer Raoul Moat whilst he was on duty in the early hours of 4th July 2010 and went on to campaign for the Blue Lamp Foundation , which supports emergency staff injured in the line of duty , but he was reported to have never overcome the psychological impact of his injuries .
