Police have been investigating complaints of harassment levelled at the pair by MP Robert Largan. Largan abandoned a hustings event on 18th June 2024, reportedly stating "I cannot take part in a debate where I am expected to be within a few metres of two people currently awaiting trial for harassment against me."
